I was excited to design this logo for ZOMP — the future of spatial flow cytometry. The team at ZOMP have come up with a device that enables medical personnel to see full 3D colour rendering of individual cells, which could be the future of cancer diagnosis. Instead of trying to discern differences in colours to spot cancer, doctors and scientists will be able to actual see individual cells in full 3D.
The Z lettermark logo design was inspired by the underlying functionality of this amazing device, which features an array of evenly spaced cameras that photograph sequences of cells flying past at a staggering rate, in order to build up detailed 3D imagery of individual cells. This sense of order and movement is important to the technology, and I’ve tried to capture some of that within this mark.
The team at ZOMP are hugely talented and I’m excited to see where their technology leads.
