Drawing and illustration has always been a passion of mine. On the right are a selection of my digital drawings, less than 1 hour sketches drawn on iPad.

I’ve worked on a wide variety of illustrative projects, from children’s stories to international poster campaigns. I particularly enjoy the challenge of realism, but also enjoy more abstract, loose and sketchy work too. Over the years I’ve developed the ability to adapt to brand and project, and so can emulate different styles as required.

When working on illustrations I often send my clients simple sketches like the one below, drawn for the children’s book, The Dog with the Flappy Ears. Producing initial sketches like these helps ensure that the illustration is right from the start, resulting in a finished piece as close to client expectations as possible, and reducing time and cost.
