Myrtle.ai Website

  • Myrtle Website. Learn

Here is the website I designed for Intel & Xilinx partner, Myrtle.ai. Myrtle are a team of genius coders whose work will not only make data centre and core technologies faster and more efficient, but actually help save the planet in the process (I’m not kidding). For their website I’ve taken a key part of their brand, the double image-recognition boxes used on their logo, to create layers and help differentiate different areas as the user navigates the website. Parallax scrolling, dynamic movies and bespoke illustrations bring the sight to life; dials and numbers count quickly as the page loads to demonstrate their core ethos of speed and efficiency.

One of the problems the team at Myrtle had was conveying the very complicated nature of their work in a way people outside the machine learning sphere could actually understand. To help do this I’ve designed for the homepage infographics showing the main uses of their technology: speech synthesis/transcription, machine translation and recommendation systems. On the invite of the CEO Peter Baldwin I actually worked from the Myrtle offices several days a week for some time, which was invaluable in getting an understanding of what the company does and who they are.

We were all really pleased with the end results. Above are a few of my designs for various pages, try to ignore the fact that the company page shows all the same person! Visit the Myrtle.ai website to the see the rest in action.
