It was a privilege to be commissioned to design the new website for the UK’s national polar research institute, British Antarctic Survey.
The hero area features rolling videos taken by drones of RSS Sir David Attenborough breaking through Antarctic ice, and the dramatic landscape of the continent itself.
I’ve tried to keep the site design as clean and uncluttered as possible, using the amazing imagery gathered by the BAS team, and allowing it to guide users to areas of interest.
The scientists and researchers at British Antarctic Survey are doing some incredible work, and I hope the new website is able to showcase that to the world.
