FlexEnable is an exciting company that’s developed the world’s first organic transistor technology platform. Essentially this allows the use of flexible electronics over curved surfaces. For one of their projects they asked me to produce some concept art of a modern car interior with curved digital surfaces across the main console and dash areas. They also wanted to show how their digital surfaces would allow the driver to see right through parts of the car, such as the A frame near the front doors. I achieved this by creating a digital painting based on an existing car interior photograph, over which I overlayed the digital surfaces. I’ve shown a tree through the A-frame, demonstrating the capability of this technology in a simple way.
