I was contacted by a journalist who writes for the Guardian newspaper who is in the process of creating a new startup company called Quick Fox. The company will train professionals in the art of writing across a broad spectrum of uses.
I wanted the fox in the logo to be comprised of simple strong shapes which emphasise speed and sharpness. The foxes tail is perhaps the most iconic part of the animal, and I thought it made a great underlining element as well as the upwards dash in the Q. The font I’ve chosen is called Title Wave (how apt for future headline writers?). It’s height and weight shows the strength of powerful writing and the italics portrays the speed underlying the company ethos.
